Chinese New Year: On Wednesday and Friday Chinese class students celebrated the Chinese New Year that falls on January 31st by Wrapping their own dumplings. The tradition of eating dumplings On New Year’s is a symbol of good fortune as the dumpling shape is modeled after that of the ancient Chinese gold currency yuan bao. Many thanks to Mrs. Gore, Hui-Li Wang, Ling Jin and other volunteers who came to help and celebrate.
