What is flipped learning?  什麼是翻轉式學習?

Flipped Learning is to reverse the order of past classroom lectures and homework review. Students complete the course on the Internet platform and then interact with teachers in the classroom.

翻轉式學習(Flipped Learning)即是將過去課堂授課和課後作業複習的順序倒轉過來,學生於網絡平台完成課程之後再於課堂與老師進行提問互動等。

What flipped?
Flipping learning is not a new idea, not to replace teachers, not to do homework by watching videos; it is to make classroom time more productive, start more in-depth thinking, and redefine the role of teachers and students.

翻轉了什麼?
翻轉式學習不是新的點子,不是要取代老師,不是以看影片取代做作業;而是要讓課堂時間更有生產力,啟動更多深層思考,也重新定義老師與學生的角色。

Flip-flop learning is not just about watching videos at home, but allows students to explore and collaborate autonomously to establish interactive learning among peers.
Teachers have a higher degree of freedom in the classroom. They can observe the students' ability to apply knowledge and provide students with differentiated assistance as appropriate. The protagonist in the classroom has changed from a teacher to a student, but the teacher is the "director or coach" behind the scenes.

翻轉式學習不止於在家看影片,而是讓學生自主探索(inquiry)與合作(collaboration),建立同儕之間的互動學習。
教師在課堂上有更高的自由度,可以觀察學生應用知識的能力,視情況給學生差異化的協助,教室中的主角從教師變成學生,但教師是那位幕後的“導演或教練"。
