July 10- We started the fourth day by finishing the base of the folded box.  We continued working with greetings and times of the day (i.e. good afternoon, lunch, good evening, dinner).  We then reviewed the ‘Earth song’ followed by Chinese painting.  As this is the year of the horse in the Chinese Zodiac the students learned to draw a horse while being introduced to the various body parts of the horse in Chinese.  After the first drawing of the horse the students had an opportunity to choose another style of horse that they liked to draw.  We will finish this painting on Friday as we ran out of time today.
