銘華中文學校周六上課／七年一班的同學，大家好。

本周回家作業請唸出「雞年吉祥話」The Auspious Words of year of the Rooster – 雞年吉祥話，並請到錄音網站Vocaroo錄下你唸的吉祥話，在一月廿六日（周四）前寄給老師；並多練習寫「春」字和「福」字。

下周（一月廿八日）上課時，學校要舉行園遊會，地點在一樓的體育館內，請同學務必穿著室內鞋進入體育館，不能穿雪靴進入；當日請儘量勿攜帶貴重物品，以免遺失；如有中國傳統服裝的同學，也請儘量穿著中國傳統服裝；另外，請記得帶袋子裝獎品。

用Vocaroo錄音的步驟如下：

到網站http://vocaroo.com/；

按Click to record；

根據視窗顯示按左鍵「Allow」；

在“Use your camera and microphone”按「Allow」之後開始錄音；

錄完時Click to Stop，畫面會出現Retry和Listen；

按下Listen可以聽一下剛才自己錄製的聲音，如果不滿意可以按Retry；

如果滿意請按Click here to save；

可以看到Sharing to options，再按下email；

輸入電郵地址：gotrainset@hotmail.com；

所錄製的聲音，即可寄給老師。

The assignment for this week is to read “Auspicious Words of Year of the Rooster”. The Auspious Words of year of the Rooster – 雞年吉祥話 Then record it on the website at http://vocaroo.com, and send it to your teacher by Jan. 26. (Thursday) Please practice writing the word of 春 and 福.

In addition, we will have a Chinese New Year carnival in the gym on Jan. 28^th. Please be advised that you have to bring your indoor shoes to the school on that day, because boots are not allowed in the gym. Please do not bring any precious items to the carnival as well. Please wear the traditional Chinese dress at the carnival on Jan. 28^th as far as possible. Please bring a bag for your prizes.

Here are the steps. 

Please go to the website http://vocaroo.com.

Click “Click to record”.

Click the box of “Allow” on the left of the pop window;

Click “Allow” on the left of “Use your camera and microphone” to start recording;

After you finish recording, click “Click to stop”, it will show “Retry” & “Listen”.

You may click “Listen” to review your recording. If you don’t like it, click “Retry”.

If you are OK with your recording, click “Click here to save”.

You will see “Sharing to options”, and then click “email” on the right box.

Your recording will be sent to your teacher.
