The homework for this week (May 9^th) is to present the final assessment sheet to your parents and get their signature. There are four components of this assessment including listening (L), speaking (S), reading (R) and writing (W).

According to the YRDSB policy, oral is 60%, reading and writing are 40% in total for grade 7 students. Regarding the final assessment, here are the score statistics for the class.

The assignment for this week (May 2^th) is to make a list of 3 words from 150 words. Please write down the ways of how you memorize the 3 words on the three cue cards. For example, if you were trying to memorize the word food, you memorize them by relating pictures.

5月2日要舉行期末測驗，共分聽、說、讀、寫等四大部分。考試時間自上午9:30到12:00，中間有15分鐘休息時間；第一部分為聽力測驗，採現場播放錄音方式測試聽力，請同學於考試當日務必準時於9:30前到達；考試當日可以攜帶字典於考試時使用，但不允許使用手機和網路等資源。

下學期（八年級）的就學報名表和註冊費30元（以現金或支票方式），最遲請務必於5月2日當天交給老師。

The assignment for this week (April 25^th) is to review lessons 1 through 8. Please focus on reviewing both the ppt. and textbook from lesson 4 to 8.

The final assessment will be held on May 2. There are four sections including listening, speaking, reading and writing. The final assessment will be starting at 9:30am with a video listening assessment, followed by reading, speaking and writing until 12:00pm. Recess is from 10:45am to 11:00am. Please be on time on May 2^st at 9:30am for the final assessment. You can bring and use a dictionary during the assessment, but cell phones, internet, Google translate etc. are not allowed at any time during the final assessment.

Regarding the registration form (Grade 8) and registration fee of $30 (by check or cash), please hand it to the teacher no later than May 2.
