{"id":5487,"date":"2026-08-16T01:00:17","date_gmt":"2026-08-16T08:00:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog2.huayuworld.org\/ashbrook1997\/?p=5487"},"modified":"2026-08-17T10:09:44","modified_gmt":"2026-08-17T17:09:44","slug":"chinese-5th-grade","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog2.huayuworld.org\/ashbrook1997\/2026\/08\/16\/chinese-5th-grade\/","title":{"rendered":"Chinese 1A Lesson Plan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>2026~2027<\/strong><strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><strong>Chinese<\/strong>\u4e2d\u6587 \u00a0\u00a0(5<sup>th<\/sup> \/ 6<sup>th<\/sup> \/ 7<sup>th\u00a0<\/sup>grade)<br \/>\nLesson Plan : Chinese 1A<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Class Structure: following current Ashbrook School Guideline<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">This class will provide students with a foundation in Chinese pronunciation, everyday communication skills, sentence formation, and recognition of Chinese characters and vocabulary.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The class will begin with an introduction to <em>Hanyu<\/em> Pinyin and basic pronunciation. Students will gradually develop sentence-building skills through phonetic input and Chinese typing on the computer. Traditional and modern Chinese songs will continue to play an important role in developing listening skills, pronunciation, vocabulary recognition, and cultural understanding.<\/p>\n<p>Hands-on cultural experiences will also be an important part of the course. Students will have opportunities to explore Chinese calligraphy, Chinese painting, origami (paper folding), and other traditional and creative cultural activities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Homework: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Homework will focus on the daily review and practice of class materials. Lesson content, review materials, videos, and assignments will be posted on <em><strong>Google Classroom<\/strong><\/em> for students to review and complete as needed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tests: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A short quiz or review activity may be given during each class period.
