They will practice everyday vocabulary, simple sentences, counting, and classroom expressions. Students will also begin to recognize and read more Chinese characters and build confidence in speaking Chinese. Basic American Sign Language (ASL) will be used to support vocabulary and comprehension. Each class will include thirty minutes of full Chinese immersion. Students will also prepare Chinese songs and dances for the World Language Festival.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Homework:<br \/>\n<\/strong>There will be no required homework.
