Seattle Culture Center , are qualified to apply for the membership.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants will be voted by the association board members at the association meeting to decide applicant\u2019s acceptance.<\/li>\n<li>Member school\u2019s authorized representative is its current principal or its current school person-in-charge.<\/li>\n<li>This association is comprised of school organizations, not individual parents or school teachers.<\/li>\n<li>Annual membership dues are to be decided by association board members at the association board meeting.<\/li>\n<li>All member schools shall have traditional Chinese curriculum.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Association\u2019s administration organization\n<ol>\n<li>Association has one each of president, vice-president, secretary and treasurer.<\/li>\n<li>Association president is elected by its members at its annual August association board meeting.\u00a0 Only member school authorized representative can be elected to the association president.<\/li>\n<li>Each term starts on September 1 and ends on the following August 31 of each school year.<\/li>\n<li>Association administration staff includes vice-president, secretary and treasurer.\u00a0 These staffs are to be appointed by the association president.\u00a0 There is no qualification required of these staffs.\u00a0 Their term ends with its association president.<\/li>\n<li>Association president is authorized to form action committees.\u00a0 Committee members\u2019 numbers and qualification are not restricted.\u00a0 Their terms end with its association president.<\/li>\n<li>Association president can appoint board advisors.\u00a0 Number and qualification of advisors are not restricted.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Authority\n<ol>\n<li>Association Board Meeting is the highest authority of policy making.<\/li>\n<li>Association President<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>i.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Responsible to host the association board meeting.\u00a0 Administer association\u2019s day to day business.\u00a0 Lead the member schools.<\/p>\n<p>ii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Represent association conducting and participating in all activities that are associated with the purpose and goal of this association.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Administration staff<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>i.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Association Vice-President:\u00a0 Assists Association President in all the activities.\u00a0 Will administer association authority on behalf of the association president when the association president is not available.<\/p>\n<p>ii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Association Secretary:\u00a0 Responsible to all association board meeting minutes, official communicate and documentations.\u00a0 Will administer association authority when both association president and association vice-president are not available.<\/p>\n<p>iii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Association Treasurer:\u00a0\u00a0 Responsible for all association financial matters including bookkeeping of all income and expenditures.\u00a0 Will administer association authority when association president, vice-president and secretary are not available.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Association Board Meeting attendees qualification<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>i.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Only member school principal, person-in-charge or its authorized representative can attend association board meeting.<\/p>\n<p>ii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 All other overseas Chinese language teaching related personnel are allowed to sit in the meeting (not officially attending the meeting) with no right to decide any association policy matters.<\/p>\n<p>iii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Association board meeting frequency is based on the need of the association matters.\u00a0 Meeting dates and locations are to be determined by the association president and its administration staff.<\/p>\n<p>iv.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Non-prescheduled association board meeting can be called by the association president.\u00a0 Non-prescheduled association board meeting has the same policy making authority as the scheduled association board meeting.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Authority of Association Board Meeting<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>i.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Association Board Meeting has the authority to elect, agree, impeach and recall:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>To elect association president:\u00a0 nominee has to obtain more than half of the meeting attendees\u2019 votes to be elected to the association president.<\/li>\n<li>To impeach and recall association president:\u00a0 More than two third of the attendees\u2019 votes can impeach, recall association president.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>ii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Association Board Meeting has the authority to revise the association\u2019s bylaw:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Association bylaw revision proposal has to be submitted in writing to the association board meeting by the attendees.<\/li>\n<li>Association bylaw revision can only be officially discussed or debated at the association board meeting when more than half of the member school representatives attending the association board meeting.<\/li>\n<li>Attendees can attend the board meeting either in person or via electronic means, i,e, phone or video phone.<\/li>\n<li>Bylaw revision can only be adopted if and only if more than two third of the attendees voted to adopt.<\/li>\n<li>All adopted association bylaw revision will take effect after it is announced via e-mail or regular mail for thirty days beginning from the e-mail sent date or post-marked date.<\/li>\n<li>Member school representative has to attend association board meeting.\u00a0 Each representative has one vote.\u00a0 A written statement has to be issued by the official school representative to the association board meeting to appoint a different person to represent said school.<\/li>\n<li>If any of the member schools violate association\u2019s purpose or goal, such member school can be disqualified from the association membership through the same process as the association bylaw revision.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Activities\n<ol>\n<li>Activities shall be decided by the association board meeting.<\/li>\n<li>The following activities have to take place within each school year:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>i.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Spring or Autumn teaching demonstrations.<\/p>\n<p>ii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Summer teachers\u2019 workshop.<\/p>\n<p>iii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Summer camp.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>All other activities will be proposed, discussed and decided by the association board meeting.<\/li>\n<li>Association member schools will take turns to host different activities.\u00a0 Association action committees can be
