meets west: Chinese your way (July 11th)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>July 11- For the fifth day of teaching we began with a brief review of greetings in Chinese.\u00a0 We then made Mango Ice cream and drank a Chinese style yogurt drink.\u00a0 After the clean up students finished their Chinese Horse Paintings and worked on writing their Chinese names on a Chinese Gourd.\u00a0 We worked a little bit more with the song &#8216;Earth Child&#8217;\u00a0 by having students read out the Chinese lyrics on their handout.\u00a0 We wrapped up the lesson with a discussion on different &#8216;question words&#8217; in Chinese as students gave their responses.\u00a0 Its been a fun week teaching this group.<\/p>\n<p><a
