{"id":1586,"date":"2014-07-09T23:00:42","date_gmt":"2014-07-10T06:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog2.huayuworld.org\/huahuafun\/?p=1586"},"modified":"2016-03-05T11:48:00","modified_gmt":"2016-03-05T19:48:00","slug":"east-meets-west-chinese-your-way-july-9th-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog2.huayuworld.org\/huahuafun\/2014\/07\/09\/east-meets-west-chinese-your-way-july-9th-2\/","title":{"rendered":"East meets west: Chinese your way (July 9th)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Wednesday July 9- \u00a0Day three we took the laminated Chinese names and the students each made their own Chinese knot using two strings and interweaving them together.\u00a0 A powerpoint presentation of basic greetings was introduced as well as numbers.\u00a0 This was reviewed on a basic worksheet and again through a number song that students listened to.\u00a0 We then played a game called &#8220;Da Feng Chuei: Big wind blows&#8221;
