親愛的家長 / 監護人，您好：

經過了兩個多月歡樂的暑假，又到了九月份莘莘學子開學的季節；我是貴子女的班級導師，蔡美貞，希望在未來的一個學年裡，能歡喜地與各位家人一起為學生的華語程度再努力，此外，也讓我們與學生一同培養良善的人文氣息！

由於每周的學習時間短暫，盼請各位家長為了小孩能更方便妥善的學習，以下有幾項注意事項，請家長配合與協助：

1. 除非十分必要，請務必鼓勵學生不要缺席。如需請假，請電話或電郵告知。
2. 學生每周的作業，煩請家長 / 監護人協助並檢閱。
3. 請協助並督促孩子備妥每周上課的課本、文具及不含堅果類的點心 。
4. 放學後只會在教室停留3-5分鐘，遲到者請至辦公室(RM#230) 接孩子。
5. 如有任何對學校的建議或是學生學習上的問題，歡迎透過電子郵件mei-chen.tsai@gapps.yrdsb.ca或電話(416-587-7316 10am-8pm)與我連繫。

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I am Ms. Tsai, your child’s Gr.4-2 Mandarin School homeroom teacher. The lists below are very important for parents to cooperate with us in the following months. I hope that we can create an even better and comfortable learning environment for our children.

1. Please encourage your child to attend each class. Parents please kindly notify me if absence.
2. Please help check your child’s work weekly and feel free to ask if any there is any question.
3. Please assist your child in getting ready with school supplies and NUT-FREE snacks to school.
4. After school finished, we will only stay in our classroom around 3 minutes. Please pick up your child in our office (RM#230) if you were late.
5. If you have any suggestions or questions, please let me know either by email mei-chen.tsai@gapps.yrdsb.ca , phone call or text. (cell# is 416-587-7316 before 8pm).

◎ 彼此尊重 Respect ◎

• 進(进)教室前我會說(会说)：「爸媽再見(见)，老師(师)早(好)，我是(學生姓名)。」When entering the classroom, I will say bye to daddy/mommy and hello Ms. Tsai.

• 放學(学)出教室前：「爸媽好，老師(师)再見。」
  When leaving the classroom, I will say bye to Ms. Tsai and hello to daddy/mommy.

• 別忘記說(说)「請(请)」、「謝謝(谢)」、「對(对)不起」、「你好」，並說到做到。Always say “please, sorry, thank you, excuse me”, good manners everywhere anytime.

• 遵守在對的時間做對的事情、說應該說的話。
  Always doing right thing and saying proper language at right time.

◎ 自我要求 Self disciplined ◎

• 上課前準備(课准备)好自己的[課(课)本、作業(业)、文具、點(点)心及水]。

Always be ready your own textbooks, homework, stationery, snacks and water before school.

• 任何的比賽練習要認真努力。/ 任何的比赛练习都要认真努力。

Any competition practice should put effort in and try your very best.

• 保持教室裡(里)外的整潔(洁)及不製(制)造噪音。

Keep classroom clean and always use indoor voice.

• 作業(业)可以允許遲(迟)交，每項作業都會有額外的計分，請把握機會得分。

All worksheets are ​all allowed to be delay handed in, students may hand in anytime​ once they finish and will receive bonus classdojo points.

◎關於在放學時間,請家長留意與配合的注意事項:

1.切勿臨時違規停車：如果放學期間學生不在教室，一定就在#230的辦公室裡
2.如果放學時間爸爸媽媽無法親自來接孩子，請務必填寫附加檔案中的託管單，學生​上課時交給老師，感謝您的用心與配合。
(學校規定：七年級以下的孩子不允許自行離開教室，請家長務必遵守，謝謝!)
