In this chapter, We are going to learn to using Mandarin to introduce yourself and asked friends’ name and nationality.
The First time to meet each other and greetings by Mandarin.
I. Sentence with 姓(Xing4), 叫(jiao4), 是(shi4)
姓(Xing4), 叫(jiao4), 是(shi4), and are used as verbs to introduce someone’s name.
姓(Xing4), is followed only by family name (surname). But 叫(jiao4) is used with full name or given name or given name. when together with titles, such as Mr. or Mrs., only 是(shi4) can be used.
