各位家長及同學大家好
希望你們都有個很棒的暑假 。
我是Wendy老師，從事中文教學有四年時間，過去在台灣也是從事教育工作，我一直很喜愛和學生在一起的時光。我原本是教雙語班，有些同學和家長可能在學校見過我 。這學期將由我接任七年級的教學工作，我感到很榮幸也很期待和大家見面。
學校的開學日是九月七日星期六，上課時間1:30到4:30 ,教室是110A。
如果有任何關於學校、教學、老師或是個人學習的疑慮和建議， 都很歡迎家長在課外時間直接和學校或老師我連繫和溝通，你們寶貴的意見是推動我們繼續前進的重要動力。
上課教室會有異動，開學當天會有我或是義工帶同學進教室。

Ø School Contest (菁英中文選拔賽)
There are three categories for MSLC Class
* Handwriting
* Draw the Paragraph
* Draw the idiom or saying
Students must register at least in two
categories
Registration Dates are 8th and 15 of
December 2012 with your class teacher. You will get your assignments from you
teacher on that day.
Students must hand in their assignments to
your class Teacher by the 19th of January 2013 .
The Winner will get a Trophy and
Certificate at the ending ceremony of the semester , June 8th.

Ø December 15 is the last class before the Christmas holiday .
Ø Enrollment begins on December 15 .
Ø School will reopen on January 12 .
Ø Final Exam will be on January 19 .
中秋節 ( The Moon Festival / Story and Poem )
The Moon Festival in 2012 falls on
Sunday, 30th September.
Chinese People believe that on that day, the moon is the roundest and brightest
signaling a time of completeness and abundance.
Some
Chinese families today still stay up late to observe the occasion eating mooncakes, sipping tea and gazing at the beautiful moon.
It is regarded the
perfect moment if someone catches
the moon's reflection in the centre of his or
her teacup .
