兩個喝醉酒的水手要乘小船回到他們的大船去，他們登上了小船、划動雙槳，但小船沒有向前行駛。於是，雙方都認定對方在偷懶，沒有用力，互相責備了一番，接著，兩人再拿起了槳，但是他們划了將近半小時後，小船還是在原地打轉。

這時，他們酒醒了，其中一個人朝了船邊看了看，然後對他的夥伴說：「嘿！怎麼我們的錨還沒解開呢？」
