波斯菊（Cosmos）

學名：Cosmos bipinnatus cav.

科名：Asteraceae菊科

花語：純潔的少女、少女的愛情

原產墨西哥，不耐冬性之一年生草花；株高可達1公尺以上，莖多分枝，葉互生，為披針細爪形之羽狀複葉；花色有白、粉紅、紅、紫紅等色。

發芽適溫15~20℃，約5-6天發芽；生育適溫10~25℃，0℃以下枯死；植株高而細長，可用支柱加以扶持防止強風及颱風吹襲倒伏；育苗時，應加以摘心以增加分枝性；花壇中以40×50cm間隔種植。
