Unlike English, that has different words to represent different months and days of the week, Chinese expresses those words by combining 月 (yuè,Month) or 星期 (yuè qī,week) with the numbers you just learned. The following list shows the twelve months and days of the week. Can you identify the pattern?
For example,
September 10,Thursday 九月十日,星期四
It’s as easy as pie, right? Can you say your birthday in Chinese? Parents may help your kids to say their birthday in Chinese and have them practice with other classmates. You may enter the following learning platform to learn pronunciation and more.
