Hi, we have learned  three “W” words in Chinese – “what” (什么），“who” (谁）and “where” (哪儿）。 Different from English, “W” words are placed at the end of each sentence in Chinese. Let’s review how to ask and respond to questions with “W” words.

一。 字匯練習 (Vocabulary Practice)

Click, listen and repeat each new word.

二。 句型练习 (Organize words into sentences)

1. What is this? (click, listen and repeat)

2. This is a nose. (click, listen and repeat)

3. Who is he? (click, listen and repeat)

4. He is a teacher. (click, listen and repeat)

5. Where are you going? (click, listen and repeat)

6. I go to school. (click, listen and repeat)

三。 家庭作業 (Home Work)

Create three dialogues using “what”, “who” and “where”, record these dialogues using any kind of recording devices with the help of your parents and email your recording to MS Liu (sliu@det.nsw.edu.au). The file name should contain your name and class, e.g. Mary_3S_WWW_Recording.  You need to complete your homework by 20th Oct, 2014.
