1. It’s like English and French for Sandy, Chinese for the Westerns is just one of the exotic spoken languages which looks so interestingly different.

2. It’s said that Chinese is the most spoken language in the world (1.2 billion people) and the economy of China hasn’t ceased from stopping during the past few years.
>>> Thus, I want to learn this language by its future potential.
3. Those Chinese characters look amazingly beautiful like drawings.
>>> Thus, I want to learn this language by its artistic beauty.
4. When people speak Mandarin Chinese, they sound like singing because of the four tones.
>>> Thus, I want to learn this melody.
5. It’s astonishing to realize that the Chinese customs and cultures are so different from the Westerns.
>>> Thus, I want to understand their customs and cultures through their language.
6. It’s said that Chinese is also one of the most difficult languages on earth.
>>> Thus, I want to challenge myself and keep myself occupied.
7. It’s a dream to travel in Asia.
>>> Thus, I want to learn this language so that I can go for a trip with ease.
8. I am going to work or study in Chinese speaking countries.
>>> Thus, I want to learn this language to communicate.

Ps. Do you know that the character 掰 sounds exactly the same as BYE in English? Oh yah ~ you just learn your first Chinese character, this is actually composed by two characters in three parts. Let’s see. The left side is a “hand” 手, in the middle 分 means “separate” , and the right is another “hand” 手. When you say goodbye to your friends, you wave your hands and separate apart, don’t you? Very logical, isn’t it?
