In China, every girl and boy Celebrates the New Year in a very special way –

6. Family get together have a dinner at the night of “Chu Xi = 除(ㄔㄨˊ) 夕(ㄒㄧˋ) ” Call ”Tuan Yuan fan = 團(ㄊㄨㄢˊ) 圓(ㄩㄢˊ) 飯(ㄈㄢˋ) ”or “Nian ye fan = 年(ㄋㄧㄢˊ)夜(ㄧㄝˋ)飯(ㄈㄢˋ) ”
7. We will eat some important food like fish” 魚(ㄩˊ)”、rise cake “Nian Gao=年(ㄋㄧㄢˊ)糕(ㄍㄠ)”、steamed sponge cake “Fa Gao = 發(ㄈㄚ)糕(ㄍㄠ)”、dumplings “Shui Jiao=水(ㄕㄨㄟˇ)餃(ㄐㄧㄠˇ)” at “Chu Xi = 除(ㄔㄨˊ) 夕(ㄒㄧˋ) ”
8. After the ”Tuan Yuan fan = 團(ㄊㄨㄢˊ) 圓(ㄩㄢˊ) 飯(ㄈㄢˋ) ”, parents will give us red packets call”Hong Bao = 紅(ㄏㄨㄥˊ)包(ㄅㄠ)”
9. Congratulate With fireworks and Say good words to each other –"Gong Xi = 恭(ㄍㄨㄥ)喜(ㄒㄧˇ) " "Gong Xi Fa Cai = 恭(ㄍㄨㄥ)喜(ㄒㄧˇ)發(ㄈㄚ)財(ㄘㄞˊ)"
