Usage:
1.Want to say something more about the action that you mentioned?
Use ‘ 得(de) ‘ to describe more! We mostly follow the structure’V O V 得____’to add on more information about the action.
2.What can be put behind ” 得(de) ”?
Mainly adj, adv and vph. In this lesson, we focus on adj. Besides, when the adj is a single syllable word, we usually have ‘很 (hen3)’ or other degree adv to go with it!
3. V1 can be omitted in a clear context.
Examples:
- 他寫字寫得很漂亮。
He writes characters beautifully.
- 白小姐唱歌唱得很好。
Ms. Bai sings well.
- 妹妹睡覺睡得很晚。
Sister went to bed late.
