我家門前有小河  後面有山坡
山坡上面野花多  野花紅似火
小河裏有白鵝  鵝兒戲綠波
戲弄綠波  鵝兒快樂  昂首唱清歌

wǒ jiā mén qián yǒu xiǎo hé    hòu miàn yǒu shān pō 
shān pō shàng miàn yě huā duō    yě huā hóng sì huǒ 
xiǎo hé lǐ yǒu bái é    é ér xì lǜ bō 
xì nòng lǜ bō    é er kuài lè    áng shǒu chàng qīng gē 

There is a little river in front of my house and a hill behind.
There are many wildflowers on the hill and they are blooming like the color of fire.
There are white geese in the river, playing with the green water.
Because the geese are playing with the green water,
they are happy so the geese lift their heads and stretch their necks to sing.
