2014 summer teacher workshop

School heads and teachers,

      This year’s summer teaching training program will be held from August 1-August 3rd (Friday to Sunday) at Portland State University (PSU), 3rd floor, room 375 Neuberger Hall. 

The school is located at the corner of Broadway and Harrison.
The aim of the program is to delve into the subject of bridging the expectation of foreign teachers in the U.S. mainstream education with the approaches that are taken on in independent Chinese classrooms.  Our special guest and prominent teacherYujen Lien from the Overseas Community Affairs Council Republic of China (Taiwan)  who has implemented the craft of merging effective use of technology into the classroom. 

 Details of the course curriculum are as follows:

·      Date of training: August 1-3rd.

·      Check-in time: August 1st at 1:00 pm at 375 Neuberger Hall.

·      Lesson times:v  August 1st from 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm

 v  August 2nd from 9:00 am- 5:00 pm

 v  August 3rd from 9:00 am-5:00 pm
 Tuition cost: $40 per person payable to GPACLS

(Fees will be collected on registration day at the check-in desk).
