第十二週

在改功課時,我發現很多小朋友沒有交感恩節的作文。在班上我跟小朋友說那是“挑戰”,有交的小朋友可以多一張貼紙。這次我改變一下戰略,我把“我的Winter break” 和 “我的New Year Resolution” 兩篇作文跟功課釘在一起。頁面上有一些用詞是我們上課時有學到的,請小朋友試試看,但不是每一個詞語都要用到。我刻意找一些小朋友比較有意見的題目,希望他們寫起來不會那麽困難。不會寫的字,用英文都沒關係。我希望小朋友能盡量表達他們的想法。謝謝!
I realized a lot of students did not turn in “Thanksgiving” essay.  I told the kids it’s a challenge and anyone who turns it in would get a sticker.  This time, I am attaching two essays – “My Winter break” and “My New Year’s Resolution” as part of homework.  There are some phrases on the page that we taught and I would like the kids to try, but they don’t have to use every phrases.  I intentionally picked topics that the students would have opinion of.  For the words they don’t know, they can even write in English, but I like them to try to express their ideas fully.
上個星期第四次小考,小朋友的表現跟以往一樣,大致上都很好。謝謝您們的努力。

接下來我們有三個星期不用上課,希望大家有一個溫馨、愉快的假期。一月七日再見!
