2014 summer teacher workshop

School heads and teachers,

      This year’s summer teaching training program will be held from August 1-August 3^rd (Friday to Sunday) at Portland State University (PSU), 3^rd floor, room 375 Neuberger Hall. 

The school is located at the corner of Broadway and Harrison.
The aim of the program is to delve into the subject of bridging the expectation of foreign teachers in the U.S. mainstream education with the approaches that are taken on in independent Chinese classrooms.  Our special guest and prominent teacherYujen Lien from the Overseas Community Affairs Council Republic of China (Taiwan)  who has implemented the craft of merging effective use of technology into the classroom. 

 Details of the course curriculum are as follows:

·      Date of training: August 1-3^rd.

·      Check-in time: August 1^st at 1:00 pm at 375 Neuberger Hall.

·      Lesson times:v  August 1^st from 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm

 v  August 2^nd from 9:00 am- 5:00 pm

 v  August 3^rd from 9:00 am-5:00 pm
 Tuition cost: $40 per person payable to GPACLS
