2026~2027                      Chinese中文  (Third Grade)

Lesson Plan : Class Structure:
Students will continue learning Chinese through songs, movement, games, stories, arts and crafts, and interactive Smart Board and PowerPoint activities. They will practice everyday vocabulary, simple sentences, counting, and classroom expressions. Students will also begin to recognize and read more Chinese characters and build confidence in speaking Chinese. Basic American Sign Language (ASL) will be used to support vocabulary and comprehension. Each class will include thirty minutes of full Chinese immersion. Students will also prepare Chinese songs and dances for the World Language Festival.

Homework:
There will be no required homework. Class materials and review resources will be posted on Google Sheets for families to review together at home if they wish.

Live Performances:
Short videos of student performances and classroom activities will be regularly shared on Google Sheets so families can follow and celebrate students’ progress.

Textbooks:
We will use Living Mandarin Third Grade and Better Chinese as the main guides, along with supplementary books and cultural materials.
