Dear Cai Laoshi, I just learned the story in the video about why Chinese people eat the zongzhi on May 5. Sometimes, I do eat the zongzhi, but not on that day, May 5. I really like it, especially the one with the sasage and the salty egg in it. I don't like the meat in it, so I give it to my mom. -Pernelle Chan
Dear Edward:I like your reply very much, you already answer my question and tell us the stuff inside the zong zi ( 粽子). I love to eat the peanut, pork, but I love to eat the mushroom as well. This year I also try the chestnut and red bean paste flavor, they all taste so delious.
Cai Laoshi,I like to eat sticky dumpling.Keith
Dear Cai laoshi,I love to eat Chinese tamales. Derek and I watched the video from Cai Laoshi, but don't really understand it. May be Chris can tell me tomorrow. The ingredients inside of tamales taste so delicious. I love the peanut, pork and egg yolk, but don't like the mushroom.
Dear Cai Laoshi,Sorry, It is little hard for me to understand it, but I will ask my mom or dad to explain to me if they have time tonight. Or Cai Laoshi can tell me tomorrow.Chinese tamales taste very good. I ate two last night.
Dear Christopher:Wonderful!! you are number one again!! Can you share your experience with class in Chinese? what's inside the chinese tamales?
Dear Lao Shi,
Thanks for the videos!
Now I know why my grandma makes Chinese tamales every year!
