Teacher: Today we’ll introduce the 12 zodiac signs.

Who knows what the zodiac is?

麗安：我前天才讀過，生肖是代表年份的十二種動物。

Ann: The day before yesterday I read that the zodiac signs are 12 animals that represent years.

老師：好極了！十二生肖有哪些動物呢？

Teacher: Excellent! What are the 12 zodiac animals?

家杰：老師，我知道！有鼠、牛、虎、兔、龍、蛇、馬、羊、猴、鶏、狗、猪。

Jake:  Teacher, I know! There’re the rat, cow, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, chicken, dog, and pig.

老師：那麽，你們屬什麽？

Teacher: Well then, which do you belong to?

麗安：我屬馬。明真比我大一歲，所以屬蛇。

Ann: I belong to the horses. Jane is a year older than me, so she belongs to the snakes.

凱文：我以前從來沒聽過十二生肖，那麽我屬什麽？

Kevin: I’d never heard of the 12 zodiac animals before. Which do I belong to?

明真：你比我小兩歲，所以屬羊。

Jane: You’re two years younger than me, so you belong to the sheep.

老師：老師考考大家，如果今年是鶏年，後年是什麽年？

Teacher: Teacher will test everyone. If this year is the year of the chicken, what’s the year after next?
