今年的園林市母親節園遊會， 將以中華文化為主題，一般民眾對中華文化很陌生，甚至有些偏見。 於是主辦單位舉辦一場說明會，向公眾說明園遊會的內容。
This year’s Garden City Mother’s Day Garden Party will be themed around Chinese culture. The general public is very unfamiliar with Chinese culture and even has some prejudices. So the organizer held a briefing session to explain the content of the garden fair to the public.
園遊會分三區：美食區、文化區和活動區。 美食區以民間小吃為主題，設有許多小吃攤位，賣春卷，肉粽、油飯、包子、牛肉麵、臭豆腐、雪花刨冰和珍珠奶茶等美食。
The garden tour is divided into three areas: the food area, the cultural area and the activity area. The food area is themed with folk snacks, and there are many snack stalls selling spring rolls, meat dumplings, oil rice, steamed buns, beef noodles, stinky tofu, snowflake shaved ice and pearl milk tea.
文化區的攤位以民俗藝術為主題，有刻印章、品茶、書法，國畫、京劇臉譜、樂器、童玩、棋類、中國古典樂和現代流行樂的攤位。
The booths in the cultural district are themed on folk art, with booths for engraving seals, tea tasting, calligraphy, Chinese painting, Peking Opera masks, musical instruments, children’s games, chess, Chinese classical music and modern pop music.

在書法攤位上，將有書法家現場表演毛筆字。 毛筆字最能表現中國文字的美和含義，人們常把毛筆字寫的家訓、座右銘或詩文標起來掛在牆上。
At the calligraphy booth, there will be calligraphers performing live calligraphy. The calligraphy in brush can best express the beauty and meaning of Chinese characters. People often mark the family motto, motto or poems written in calligraphy and hang them on the wall.
